Early morning 12 hr offshore Tuna excursion, specifically targeting Giant Bluefin Tuna with "opporTUNAties" to catch live bait & groundfish. Federal Permit regulations stipulate that any Bluefin over 73" are property of the boat. If we catch a market-sized Tuna, we will refund you at least 25% of the sale of the fish, up to the full price of the charter. Please also note that marketable-size Tuna may only be retained on NMFS-regulated fishing days. *Mate gratuity is not included in the price.

Shark: This is our specialty. We love introducing anglers to big game fishing in Maine. We have lots of toothy critters in these waters. We average several sharks per trip, with many in the 200-300lb range. These only run on weekends July 1- September 10, so book early.

Giant bluefin tuna fishing is the ultimate test of skill and endurance for even the most seasoned anglers. This trip is scheduled to depart the dock at approximately 6pm, with fishing activities commencing shortly thereafter. The timing of hookups is unpredictable and can occur at any time, resulting in prolonged battles last several hrs. If fish is landed on an open fishing day, it will be sold to market, as per NOAA regulations. Clients have the option of keeping fish that measures under 73”

Spend a day offshore chasing the elusive Giant Bluefin Tuna! This is advanced fishing for experienced anglers only. Monster Bluefin Tuna can grow to 1000 lbs. or more. Catch 73 inches or greater is retained by the Captain, catch under 73 inches is shared out to the guests and Captain.
