Oviedo Wahoo Fishing Charters

If you like bottom fishing, then this is the trip for you. Go out some 25 miles offshore, and fish for Groupers, Snappers, and Triggerfish among others. Gear and bait are included in the price.

If you are looking for a little more than the half day trip, the 3/4 day trip is a great choice. You will be fishing for King Mackerel, Barracuda, various Sharks, Groupers and Snappers among others. A good idea for a longer family excursion. Feel free to bring along snacks and drinks as well.

The full day trip will provide you with more opportunities to catch the big game fish such as Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Amberjack, and bottom fish like Grouper and Cobia. The trip will take you 10–25 miles offshore.

Spend the day with Capt. Cody, fishing up to 30 miles offshore. You'll target Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi. Rods, reels and tackle, bait, and lures are all included. The first mate will work hard to make your trip memorable, please include a 15% gratuity. Capt. Cody is flexible and will gladly change the departure time to suit your schedule. If you’re prone to getting seasick, the captain recommends you take bonamine or dramamine the day before, as well as on the day of the trip.

Our 5-hour offshore trip is designed for those who are not quite sure about the offshore experience. We travel out around 9 miles, targeting Red Snapper, Lane Snapper, Shark, Kingfish, and Seabass.

The boat leaves the dock at 6:00 a.m. and will return sometime around 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. This trip is suited for the fisherman that wants to get the most out of the trip. You can spend more time on the fishing grounds and you'll be able to fish for many different species out in the deeper waters off the ledges and wrecks, along with the possibility of trolling for the striking fish should they be showing.

Be prepared for an all-day adventure. Bring plenty of beverages, food and sun protection. Dress in comfortable clothes and wear non-slip shoes. You can go as far as 40 miles out and will be catching a wide variety of fish. You'll be looking for some big game fish, such as Tuna, Sailfish, Wahoo, Blue Marlin, and Mahi Mahi. The captain covers your equipment and catch cleaning. Bring a small cooler for your fish to take home.

Enjoy a true offshore experience full of deepwater bottom fishing and trolling. All licenses and gear will be provided for you. Just be sure to bring sun protection, snacks, and drinks. We look forward to making some fishing memories with you!

Wahoo, Mahi, Tuna, Sailfish, Marlin, and deep water bottom Gag Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Amberjack, Cobia, Vermilion Snapper, Triggerfish, Mutton Snapper, African Pompano, Red Snapper (not in season to harvest), and more. This long trip to the gulf stream goes 40 miles offshore and it will be a 1-2 hour drive to get to the gulf stream. I have a radar to pick up birds, debris, and seaweed piles along with a temporary break for water. I have offshore bean bags to have a nice comfy nap on the way offshore.
