Texas Wahoo Fishing Charters

Our extended jetty trip targets Trout, Redfish, Drum, Sheepshead, and Flounder.

An 8-hour private charter. Spend a day in the Gulf of Mexico and have an offshore fishing adventure! During your eight hours, you'll have an opportunity to target possible Red Snapper, King Mackerel, Tuna, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Ling, depending upon the season and sea/weather conditions. The tackle and bait will be provided. Note: A possible fuel surcharge may be added when marine fuel prices rise. Please inquire.

This trip is popular (but not limited to) bottom fishing for Red Snapper and other table fish.

Weather permitting 8-hour trips can go 30+ miles offshore to the 'rocks' or natural banks. Here a variety of reef fish can be caught such as Amberjack, Almaco Jack, Vermillion, Grey, Lane, and Red Snapper as well as many others. Trolling these areas during summer months can produce all the major pelagic species including but not limited to Mahi Mahi, Billfish, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Kings.

On this trip we’ll be targeting the mighty swordfish. Reeling up a giant from depths of 1500-2500 feet. Along the way we’ll troll for mahi mahi, wahoo, and tuna. When we bottom drop for the swords we also have opportunities at giant blue fin tuna, tile fish, and other deep drop species.

Go bottom fishing for Snapper and Grouper and if time allows troll for King Mackerel. This is a great trip for families and kids, an action-packed fishing fun! You'll have an excellent opportunity to experience offshore fishing without a long boat ride. FEDERAL SNAPPER SEASON (JUNE 1- OCT 26) This is the crew's most popular year-round trip! It gives you enough time to get out to the structures where the sea monsters live! This trip may yield any of the following – Snapper, Amberjack, Grouper, Mahi, Kingfish, Wahoo, Cobia, sharks, and even the occasional billfish when luck strikes! MAX OCCUPANCY IS 6 PEOPLE BY LAW, THERE IS NO EXCEPTION.

NO FUEL CHARGE & FISH CLEANING INCLUDED. Blue water fishing is our most popular trip. Our 10hr trip targets all the species available on our 6 and 8hr trips (Snapper, Kingfish etc.), around wrecks and rocks. Add'l time permits fishing farther from shore and targeting deep water species and fish surface structure like weedlines, shrimp boats, or buoys when available. This trip provides additional fishing time and a better opportunity to fill limits, catch additional species and upgrade to larger fish.

Call before booking! For 8-hour trip will be deeper water trip that is usually 20-50 miles out. We will be bottom fishing for Red Snapper when in season, trolling and fishing structure.

An 8-hour Snapper trip for up to 4 anglers, with opportunities to catch other species like Drum along the way. Price: $2,150 for 4 people. Additional anglers: $150 each, up to 6 people total.
