Illinois Walleye Fishing Charters

If you're in the Chicago area and you'd like to do some of the best fishing in the Midwest this excursion is for you! In the first 30 minutes, Capt. Eric will talk about the best techniques to target your species of choice. After that, it's up to you to head out and see how many fish you can hook in the remaining 4 hours. All you need is a fishing license, some snacks, and beverages for the day.

Start your day catching Musky, Pike, or Largemouth Bass. There's no need for previous experience – that is why you're fishing with an experienced guide! Captain Eric will show you the ropes and help you with setting up the equipment. You only need to purchase your license and bring snacks and drinks for the day.

Fish the beautiful Fox Chain O' Lakes for great multi-species action, Targeting White Bass, Yellow Bass, Walleye, Pike, Catfish, Freshwater Drum, Perch, and Crappie. Keep your catch for a great dinner for the family! Make sure to have your Illinois Fishing License and a few cold beverages and a snack for the trip.

This is Rambling Rose Guide Service's bread and butter package. Tactics will vary depending on the time of year, but you can expect five full hours of fun! All the tackle, bait, and fish cleaning are included in the price and both morning and afternoon outings are available.

Spend a full day trip on inland lakes in Southern Wisconsin and make memories of a lifetime. Starting at 8:00 a.m., you and the guide will spend 8 hours targetting Walleyes, Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch, Crappie, as well as Northern Pike. Bring nothing but your licenses, food, and drinks.

Your trip will take place on a 17' Lund aluminum fishing boat powered by a 70-horsepower Suzuki 4-stroke outboard. The boat uses a GPS, and Fishfinder, and is equipped with a livewell and wireless trolling motor for convenient fishing and a multimedia system for a more fun trip. We will primarily be fishing for Catfish but also Walleye, Largemouth, Crappie, and an assortment of others.

We will fish the lower fox river. We will start with a boat ride to the mchenry dam and we will work that area trying to catch some big ones. If fishing is slow we will work down the river fishing all the good hot spots, channels, and deep holes. This is not intense fishing. This is just a good day on the water with friends and family. Bringing food and drinks encouraged.

The Fox Chain of Lakes has some of the very best multi species fishing in Northern Illinois however, most commonly known for pleasure boating. The typical day of fishing will bring catches of Vass, Crappie, Sheepshead, Bluegill, Perch, Walleye and the occasional Muskie and Northern Pike. We will provide all top quality rods, reels, tackle and bait. Your captain will also have cold water and gatorade on board for you. Please dress for the weather and feel free to bring any other drinks and snacks.
