We will fish the lower fox river. We will start with a boat ride to the mchenry dam and we will work that area trying to catch some big ones. If fishing is slow we will work down the river fishing all the good hot spots, channels, and deep holes. This is not intense fishing. This is just a good day on the water with friends and family. Bringing food and drinks encouraged.
The Fox Chain of Lakes has some of the very best multi species fishing in Northern Illinois however, most commonly known for pleasure boating. The typical day of fishing will bring catches of Vass, Crappie, Sheepshead, Bluegill, Perch, Walleye and the occasional Muskie and Northern Pike. We will provide all top quality rods, reels, tackle and bait. Your captain will also have cold water and gatorade on board for you.
