Wonderful trip with a fellow veteran. We got on the bite quick and hauled in personal best striper and bluefish. The weather cooperated all day and the Captain put us in fish all day. 1000% recommend chartering and will be my go to charter anytime I am in Newport.

My family of rookie fishermen felt right at home with captain Tom. He was very warm and welcoming, knew the waters and the hotspots. We started a mile off shore but the water was too choppy so we came back in, and still had a day of 50 catches (black bass, porgy, fluke). My 8 and 12 year olds are already asking when is our next trip! Highly recommend Captain Tom and Get the Net charters to anyone in Newport looking for an awesome experience!

We had a great time!  I chartered Captain Tom and brought my sister, mom, brother and mother in law out as a batchelorette party for my sis. (yes, non-conventional). Everyone caught a ton of fish. Captain Tom knows the waters extremely well. He knew by the tides exactly where the fish would be and they were there. Boat is very nice and clean. Poles and reels were nice and worked well.  Everyone had a great time. I would definately recommend Tom.
