We didn’t catch a lot of fish. We went right after the Tropical storm went through.  That made the bottom murky. But the Captian really tried to but us in the best locations. My 14 year old Grandson caught the most fish (4). I would diffently use them again on my next trip to Myrtle Beach.

I took a week off from work and spent the first half in Myrtle Beach, SC. I looked into fishing trips out on the sea. I booked an early half day trip with Miss Calabash. The booking went smoothly and I was quickly sent a confirmation.

Upon arriving at the dock, I noticed the captain and crewmate were busy cutting bait, setting up rigs, checking their gear. It was a small group of about a dozen and we recieved a brief but detailed safety message.

A little while later we came to stop and the fishing began. Everyone on the boat was catching fish and the deckhand was very active unhooking fish, placing bait and helping in any other way he could. At points on out trip the captain would come down and assist as well, since we kept getting hits.

Although I got seasick, I have no regret nor anything bad to say about the conduct of our captain and crew. I’m very happy with the experience and would strenuously reccomend to anyone booking a trip with Miss Calabash.

Captain TJ & his mate Trip were great! We caught black seabass, someone got a Grouper (which was too small to keep), Tom’s Tain, Ringtail something- it was fun! They let us pay $20 to fillet what we got. So bring like $20 in cash/person. Everyone caught a fish! This was our first charter so we’ll definitely be doing a longer one (Gulf Trip) next time! They didnt “drift and dream”- they put us on fish. As soon as we weren’t catching something- we moved. Was fun but a workout! Highly recommend! The only con I have is through this site it said I was talking to the captain and I was not. 🤷♀️

Went out on a morning trip and had a great time! Came back with a bunch of sharks and a few other fish. Kids and adults all pulled up 10+ fish each, many were not keepers, but they had a blast!! Hats off to Captain Dave and Captian Alex. We were out on the Miss Calabash

They had us on fish all day long! Chris and Captain Dave were ever diligent in keeping bait on the hook and removing fish. They did a great job cleaning the fish as well. Would recomend this trip to anyone.
