Luck of the draw…our charter just happened to coincide with dead low tide, which seriously affects the fishing but Captain Dick, with 55 years of charter experience and knowledge took us to where he knew we might find fish and we did!  After about a half dozen good-sized blues were caught, we got into the stripers and never looked back, catching our limit.  Dick’s grandson, Charlie, the mate was also right on it with keeping us in the water and did a great job filleting out the catch. ... Captain Dick and his first officer Mike welcomed us bright and early on a cool but sunny Saturday morning. We tried for stripers first thing, but we were a little late in the season. Since we were open to “just fishing”, we changed up and they immediately put us on black bass and toutag. By noon we had 25 pounds of fillets. We’re looking forward to coming back next June when the striper fishing is hot.

Captain Dick was fantastic. We left the dock at 6am and we had our first striper and big blue fish by 6:45. He kept us on the fish all day long. There were 3 of us and we were all tired of reeling in fish by the end of the trip. Great Captain… very knowledgeable of local area and techniques. There was alot of boats out there and we caught the most fish by far…I would highly recommend him for your next charter.

We had the most amazing and FUN day with Captain Dick and Jimmy.  They are true professionals. Both of them are wonderful, sincere and down to earth people. Loved sharing our love of the ocean, RI and fishing with these two gentleman. We’re already talking about booking another day soon.
