Capt Tayo knows where the fish are! He brought us to some massive tarpon and snook (which I was unable to connect with) but some bones cruised in, they quickly handed me the other rod set up and I got into some bonefish. Headed to another spot and landed tarpon and snook on the fly. Which is exactly what I was looking for. The sandwiches for lunch were delicious and he had the cooler stocked with water and sodas. I’ve fished many places. From a guide you want access to your desired fish, expertise, and somebody that is excited as you to be out there. The facts of this trip: I got access to more juvenile tarpon than I’ve ever seen in a trip before, as well as tons of snook and bones, and for 6 hours that fly rod was swinging practically constantly.
