Due to an unforeseen situation brought by Mother Nature, we had to abandon our original plan of fishing the mangroves for tarpon and snook after only about an hour. No problem! Our Captain took us out into the flats where we caught lots of bonefish! Both Neftali and his first mate have Eagle eyes and can spot fish from far out. I can’t recommend enough that if you’re fly fishing, you practice making long casts into and with the wind to maximize your time!

Captain Tayo and his mate were awesome. They were very friendly and made my experience great. We caught too many snappers and barracuda to count. 5 different types of snapper. We targeted tarpon most of the day, unfortunately missed a few but saw lots and had a few opportunities. Captain Tayo was very knowledgeable and had a great lay of the land. Overall a great experience and would recommend for anyone who likes spin-cast fishing with bait and lures.

No frills, but a successful fishing trip.

This was definitely a fun fishing trip and worth it. It was a hot one so be sure to bring water. Sadly we didn’t find any big snook but we found the tarpon and Bone fish! Lunch was a tasty sandwich. Definitely recommend this trip for others.
