Really good trip with marcell he’s a knowledgeable fisherman we had a few difficulties with a boat engine problem early on in the day (which was nobody’s fault all engines need repair sometimes) so he immediately offered us to go back to shore to make the repair and start the trip the next morning which I couldn’t do as I was going home the next day, he then quickly arranged an replacement boat to get us back out on the water for the afternoon fishing a different style on a smaller boat... Marcel and his crewmate did everything they could to get us to the fish. We caught two mahi mahi and two small tuna. Unfortunately, we lost three more mahi mahi. At the beginning, a wahoo also bit. We had a lot of fun. Marcel also had various drinks on board for us to help ourselves to. We recommend Elimar Fishing Tours. It was a great experience.

Es war eine erfolgreiche Angeltour mit 6 Bissen und 4 Mahi Mahi in den 4 Stunden. Die Tour sollte laut Internetseite 299,99 Dollar kosten, so habe ich es verstanden. Zum Abschluss der Tour sollten wir aber 352,00 Dollar bezahlen. Wir haben uns dann auf 340,00 Dollar geeinigt. Angeblich ist die Internetseite nicht eindeutig formuliert. Die Taxifahrt vom Hotel Catalonia zum Hafen Bayahibe kostete jeweils 10 Dollar.

we didnt catch many fish in the 4 hour time slot and it wasnt for lack of trying. we trolled 4 hours straight but they just werent biting. not the crews fault

Marcel was excellent, looked after us ‘beginners’ the whole time. We even managed to catch some lovely big fish and reel them in. Would highly recommend
