The trip was horrible! It was a wasted day in my opinion. We never had live bait to fish with and we trolled for way to long. The boat was not the same as the boat in the pictures shown on the website. We paid for a 5 hour trip but it took 45 minutes coming and going to drop the first line so in all reality we only fished for 3.5 hours. The crew was nice but both acted like they had been up all night the night before. I have been fishing all my life and have been on many charters and this by far is the worst I have ever been on in my life. I would not recommend this charter at all!!!

Booked the trip well in advance of vacation. Upon arrival we were told the water was very rough 3.5 to 4 foot consistent waves. The individual driving the boat gave us the option to go out and see if the rough water was something we could fish in, and if not he wouldn’t charge us for the trip. Unfortunately,  we got out on the water, and there was no way we could have fished due to how rough the water was. On our way back to shore the owner of the boat was consulted and we were then told we still owed for the trip. He was going to charge us full price, but ended up charging us half the full charter with no fishing. Didnt even drop a line!

My review is not based off the boat or trip as we did not go due to inclement weather. We had scheduled a offshore 12 hour trip, but due to bad weather we could not go. Captain Ronnie got in touch with me the day before the trip to let me know about the weather, and asked if we wanted to do a inshore trip. One of the questions we had was how bad the waves would be inshore, he said 2-3 foot. We talked and decided we did not want to fish inshore and that the water may be to rough for us since we are inexperienced with ocean fishing. When we told him he got very rude and said well if 2-3 feet is to rough for you maybe you should just stick to creek fishing if you can’t handle that. I picked this trip because reviews raved about the captain and the trip, not being able to fish or go out I totally understand, but being rude is not ok. So if you want good communication with your captain don’t pick this trip.
