I have fished in about every major lake in the South. I have had good guides and bad ones. Today however, I think I had the best guide I have ever hired. Capt. Slay was tremendous in all aspects you hope for in a guide. He was knowledgeable of the lake-his boat and equipment was first class and he was a delight to spend the day with. Len was great.  He showed up right on time which was appreciated.  There were a couple guys waiting there for their captain who was 1/2 hour late!  Len seems to really know Blue Ridge lake.  He took us up to where the river feeds the lake and we worked our way back to the islands on the main lake.  Ended up with 20+ nice fish.  Kept about 8 good sized bass and ate like kings that night!  Our party all really enjoyed spending the day with Len.  He started fishing these mountain lakes...
