Striper/hybrid bite is as good as it's going to be. MAY IS THE MONTH to catch the 20+ lb fish. The striper in the post spawn is hitting large live bait. The flathead catfish are moving up the river and creeks. Have caught sevearl fish ranging from 20 to 30 lbs been exciting to fight them on the reel. Looking forward to the warm trend looks like some good catches ahead this month. Book now!

We had previously used Captain Len 3 years ago for a fishing trip on Blue Ridge Lake and he did a great job of putting us on top of fish. This year however from the get go when he showed up he left the impression he wasn’t very excited about fishing Lake Blue Ridge, He spent the first several minutes saying how great the fishing was on Lake Nottely. As a guide it’s my job to tell the customer where the best fishing is happening in the area. You said you wanted fish that fight hard so I informed you that 20 minutes up the road is big striper and the bite is very good right now. As for cleaning fish I do not and it says so on here but I cleaned 3 walleye a bass and perch for you anyway cause you wouldn’t be quite about it and gave you a new filet knife to have to clean them catfish.
