They also took the time to teach us new skills and offered words of encouragement.

We had an absolutely amazing time on this fishing charter in Costa Rica! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. The captain was incredibly patient and kind, especially with our young children. One of our kids asked what felt like 10,000 questions, and the captain answered every single one with enthusiasm and care. It was clear he’s a father himself – he took the time to explain everything in a way that made it fun and educational.

We were lucky enough to hook a huge sailfish and also caught several tuna, mahi-mahi, and jacks. The action was non-stop and thrilling for all of us! The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable – and we always felt safe and well taken care of.

This was more than just a fishing trip – it was a memory our family will treasure forever. Highly recommend this charter, especially for families with kids. We can’t wait to come back!

We chartered this boat for just two adults (my husband and me), and captain Eyhmus was amazing and gave us a great experience on his boat the Pichel. We caught a yellowfin tuna, and some smaller fish like skipjack. We had a sailfish bite but didn’t catch. He gave it 1000% effort to get us a big sailfish or mahi but it just wasn’t our luck that morning. No regrets at all and would highly recommend him!

The captain and crew were fantastic, they went out of the way to make sure my son had a fantastic time and that we got his fish! We got a Yellow tuna that I thought was huge. The captain said it was small, but my son was ready to be done for the day or we would have kept fishing! I highly recommend this crew! It’s was a little changing connecting with the captain in the morning as the app was not working very well. But all of the local crews knew each other and one of the other crews called the captain from us we left on time got back early with dinner in hand and pictures and good memories! If you are looking for a fantastic bonding opportunity with your son or daughter I definitely recommend this crew. Its also clear that if your a serious fisherman this crew with be prepared for you! Had a great time with a great captain. My dad and I went out for a 3/4 day, which was perfect. We caught 3 fish total, 2 sailfish and a type of jack fish. Even though my dad was sick, it didn’t stop him from landing a bigger sailfish than mine. Overall great experience with great company! Would recommend fishing with Pichel fishing tour!
