We did a half-day trip with my wife and our 6-year-old daughter, and it was the perfect experience for our family. We caught 2 skipjack, 2 yellowfin tuna, 1 rainbow runner, and even hooked a mystery fish that a shark stole—super exciting! The captain and crew were outstanding: friendly, patient with our daughter, and clearly knew where to find the fish. We felt safe, welcome, and well taken care of the whole time. Highly recommend this charter to anyone visiting Costa Rica, whether you’re with kids or just looking for a fun, productive day on the water.

We had an absolutely amazing time on this fishing charter in Costa Rica! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. The captain was incredibly patient and kind, especially with our young children. One of our kids asked what felt like 10,000 questions, and the captain answered every single one with enthusiasm and care. It was clear he’s a father himself – he took the time to explain everything in a way that made it fun and educational.

We were lucky enough to hook a huge sailfish and also caught several tuna, mahi-mahi, and jacks. The action was non-stop and thrilling for all of us! The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable – and we always felt safe and well taken care of.

This was more than just a fishing trip – it was a memory our family will treasure forever. Highly recommend this charter, especially for families with kids. We can’t wait to come back!

Of all the fishing excursions I have done this was a top notch experience, best value for the money.  Eyhmus and Juan were extremely knowledgeable and made the day so fun! We caught about a dozen fish; yellow fin tunas and a yellow fin snapper. We had a great time! We caught 4 fish and ended up keeping 2 fish: a tuna and a rainbow runner (the two other were very high in mercury). The captain was super knowledgeable and very entertaining. Would definitely recommend gravel to anyone that is not used to boating out in the sea as the sea sickness can hit you hard! Thanks again :)
