What an incredible adventure this was! Eugene was great at communication and accommodated our desire to have 8 fishermen for all day. He split us in two boats which is perfect because then we could have 4 poles in the water on each boat. They picked us up from the beach house we were staying in in Las Terrenas and dropped us off there. They had food and drinks provided. We caught many fish including one Mahi. Rundown boat. 2 motors which one didnt work and the other was ran at 25%. just very slow to go to each locations to get live bait and the crew weren’table to even get live bait. i guess it wasn’t the day but on a positive note at least we had the chance to see dolphins in a 4h ride. Also the captain which i thought would had come; sent his crew to pick us up and brought us back to the beach we were located.

We weren’t catching anything for a while but when we came back to one of the buoys we caught some dorado on hand line which was really fun and we got to keep one. The Captain and crewmate were really nice and helpful and had snacks and drinks.

It was a good experience. We cach a machi machi and some other small fish, but there are chances for catching big fishes. We kept the machi machi and the over recomand us a restaurant nearby where we could cook the fish. We had such a good fille and cevice. The issue is that the crew is not very interactive. It was a little boring at one moment. Another issue is the price. 450 usd is to much for this. But on that side of the island all the prices are higher than normal
