Booked the trip and Uli recommended that the offshore fishing had been slow, so we stayed close to shore.  Caught lots of Bonita and a couple mackerel and a mahi mahi.  Finished off the day with a couple nice jacks.  Captain speaks very good English and those guys worked to get us on the fish.  Spotted some humpback whales on the way back in.  Once back in the bay they cleaned our fish and Uli helped us get situated in a restaurant that cooked our catch up for us several different ways and... We took our kids fishing for the day with Uli and had a blast! We caught lots of fish and felt Uli really went above and beyond. He’s a very knowledgeable local fisherman and a fun guy to spend the day with.

This trip with Captain Uli and Eduardo was amazing!  We caught plenty of fish and had a great time swimming in the cove, Captain Uli spoke great English and was very fun and engaging! They did a great job of getting the lines out there and helping with the fish! And don’t even get me started on Eduardo’s ceviche. It was the best we’d ever had! Great people made this well worth it and a highlight of our vacation. I highly recommend this charter to anyone who loves fun on the ocean!

Caught a huge sailfish thanks to Ulises during our June stay!! He’s kind, knowledgeable, on time, and very cool; he even took us on a city tour after the trip! (Separate fee of course). Definitely recommend him, even if we didn’t catch anything the trip would still have been worth it.

Uli is a great Captain that I can’t say enough good things about. Communication before trip was excellent.  He’s open to tailoring the trip to what you are looking for.  Everyone in our party caught fish and his he and his mate Edu even “cooked” up some ceviche for us on the ride back.  Doesn’t get much fresher than 30 minutes after it was caught!  Saw whales and dolphin and even rays!  Will definitely book him again!
