We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful lake. Our family of 5 caught our first salmon and trout! Our captain was well prepared with 12 poles in the water at all times and educated our family on what to do when we had a bite! Then he cleaned our fish and **hidden content** how to best prepare our dinner and it was so good!

Nathan made the trip really enjoyable. He talked through every step and technique as soon as we hit the lake, and when there was a bite he called out reminders. Only one bite didn’t make it into the boat, and we wound up with a cooler full of trout and salmon by the end of the trip.

Rob was a professional, charismatic, energetic, kind guide. He was respectful to the wife and I. We both had a blast and he put us on fish. It was a low stress well needed trip and I would highly recommend them to anyone and we will be booking again in the future to take our boys or friends.

Captain Nate warned us that the fish were not biting well, bur everybody in our party caught at least one! We girls outfitted the guys. And I was a happy, grinning fool as I reeled what was to be my first salmon, and then my first lake tour. I’m still grinning! Had a wonderful experience!

Nathan does a very nice job making the trip fun and enjoyable.  I have been a few charters in my life and Nathan is one of the best.  Even thought the fish did not really cooperate for us, we did manage to boat four lakers.  I highly recommend Nathan and his boat, I’d Rather be Fishing.
