I’ve grown up in Oregon my whole life, fished with my dad when I was younger but nothing compares to how fun the fishing trips are when we go Fishin’ With Gordo! Tyler is very knowledgeable and patient when it comes to fishing all across the board. I needed a little refresher course since it had been so long since I last fished & he made the experience both encouraging and informative. We weren’t leaving the boat without a fish for my birthday and it was such an amazing trip! Lots of laughs, great food and all around fun. I’d recommend Tyler as the best fishing guide in the Rogue Valley! If you want to have the best time and catch some monster fish, he’s your guy!

I’ve always dreamt of taking my adult son big fish angling in oregon.i explained what I wanted with Tyler and he delivered exactly what we wanted.He put us on a big salmon and a nice steely.we had fun getting to know him and he was very knowledgeable about the river and the fish.if you want to go fishing us anyone.if you want to get on some big fish,call tyler.we will be regulars from now on thanks again for the great day.all this and fresh hot handcrafted pizza right on the boat

Fishing with Gordo was a top notch experience! Even if you’re not a fisher the experience of being on the boat taking in the beautiful scenery of the Rogue River is worth it. My husband and I are both pretty inexperienced but Gordo made the whole thing amazing! His knowledge and experience on the water proved good outcomes for us and we both got to reel in a few! The heater in his boat and of course his handmade pizza just really tied it all together. It is very obvious that he puts a lot of heart into making his customers comfortable and the experience unforgettable. He’s a really cool dude too! You definitely will not regret jumping on the river with him.

My Step-father and I have a passion for the outdoors. Although we’ve only dabbled in what the great PNW has to offer I doubt that any other guide can compete with the experience of GGG. From the start, Captain Gordon’s energy and competence really stood out. I’m not the strongest swimmer and truthfully I was nervous to hit the waters of the mighty rogue river. Within minutes of launch, I had the tools and the guidance to secure tight lines on big fish.  When I say GGG puts you on big fish, I mean it. “generational” guide service really translates to, a massive amount of combined experience fishing hundreds of spots through many years of different rive/weather conditions. Captain Gordon’s expertise and patience was on full display as we spent multiple runs in the areas that produced, and blew past the dead zones with nothing going on. The tempo fo the runs were quick but I never felt like he was just “pushing customers” along. At the end of the day, I secured a great steelhead for lunch ( cleaned and processed by a pro ) and my Step Dad and I had some great pictures to share with the family. 10/10 Cant recommend enough. ESPECIALLY for father/son type trips.

It was a hard day fishing and the big fish weren’t biting but our captain worked his butt off to make it happen and i have no qualms with him- He also was very easy going and made sure we were comfortable and had a good time - He is also great with kids and showed my young son a lot and didn’t get angry/frustrated at his beginner mistakes- He was also very knowledgable- will book again-
