Some nice mixes of fish are being taken including King Salmon, Coho salmon, Steelhead and Lake Trout. The size of the fish and quantities are improving daily. We have had several double digit catches of hard fighting large freshwater drum on almost every 2 hr. Trip the past few weeks.

The early summer Freshwater Drum fishing has been excellent in the Grand Haven harbor. We have been trolling Stinger spoon in multiple orange color batterns with both chrome and copper backs and have been catching large drum. These fish are hard fighters and fun to catch and release.

Spring salmon fishing is excellent so far for the start of our 2024 season. There has been great double digit catches of healthy spring king salmon. Mostly small to medium 2-10lb. fish with a few in the high teens and low 20 lbs. here and there mixed in. Fishing offshore in the 40-120 ft. of water while trolling spoons has been the best

2023 was an excellent fishing season! We had great weather, great fishing and most importantly great customers! We were able to complete a record amount of fishing trips and enjoyed our time on the water. The king salmon fishing was excellent and we were able to catch king salmon on almost every trip throughout the season. We also caught a record amount of brown trout in 2023. We enjoyed a great morning on the water catching Chinook and Coho Salmon in 21-45 feet of water close to the pier heads. Plugs were hot on downriggers and dipsey divers. Our customers took some of their catch to a local restaurant and enjoyed the best fish they have ever had!

Salmon fishing in Grand Haven remains excellent! We have had several trips with nice catches of large mature King salmon. The fish have been in shallow water from the river close to the pierheads out to 100 ft of water. Mostly plugs and spoons on copper lines and downriggers
