FishGH is a premium fishing charter service operated from Chinook Pier in Grand Haven, MI. We specialize in family-friendly fishing excursions and corporate outings.
We have been operating since 1984. Our boat Down Time was completely restored in 2022 and can comfortably accommodate 6 guests in all weather conditions.
Down Time is a 33' Wellcraft Coastal and was built to fish offshore in any conditions. She is always clean and we have a full-size bathroom on board that is clean and comfortable. Downtime is equipped with the latest fishing gear and electronics including GPS, Radar, VHF radio, and sonar fish finder.
Our crew is polite and friendly and loves to share our love for fishing with children. No fishing experience is necessary. Guests can bring aboard a cooler with food and drinks of their choice. We ask that you not bring glass bottles, hard liquor, or bananas on board. We always have complimentary cold water available as well.
We will be trolling, primarily for Salmon and Trout on Lake Michigan. We are typically 1-5 miles offshore depending on several factors like time of the season, weather conditions, and water temperatures.
When you return from your trip we will take group photos, clean your catch and provide fresh bags and ice. We also participate in the Cook the Catch program where you have the option to bring your fresh fish to a local restaurant and have a full meal prepared (additional fees apply).

Had a great trip with Captain Brian and Fish GH. We ended up catching 7 fish and had action throughout the morning. Brian worked hard to keep us on fish, explained what he was doing, and made the whole trip enjoyable whether you were experienced or new to salmon fishing. The boat was clean, the equipment was in good shape, and everything felt safe and professional. We had a lot of fun and learned a few things we can use on our own boat as well. I'd definitely recommend Fish GH to anyone looking for a good day on Lake Michigan and would book with Brian again

Only caught two King Salmon on 4 hour trip but we enjoyed the time out on the water and the guys did all they could to encourage the fish to bite. First trip for two of the four of us and despite the light fishing, a brief rain shower and cooler temperatures, it's a trip we'd do again in hopes of more fish on.
took the nieces and nephew for their first charter fishing excursion and had a great time we wiuld have a butterfly zoom over our boaton 3 seperate occasions and in 10 minutes we caught 3 fish 2- 13 lbs steelllhead and a 10 lbs KoHo. so the butterflys were good luck!!
We went on the Danel boat due to rescheduling due to weather. Brenden and teddy did a great job with two young kids aboard charter fishing for the first time. We caught 6 fish during the 1-5 afternoon time. This was the highlight of our week long trip and would recommend to anyone thinking about GH charters are the best. They even filet your catch for you and fill cooler with ice

We (dad with 2 younger kids) did the 2 hour evening trip - the captain and mate took us into Silver Lake to make sure the kids caught something- the kids caught multiple fish (bass and drum) and were thrilled. The captain and mate were friendly and professional. The boat and equipment were in great shape. Would book again.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 15% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
