- Background
- Truthfully, I have always just loved to fish. I remember renting little jon boats with 9hp tiller motors to catch Flounder in the back bays with my dad from when I was 4 and slogging through waist-high mud to get to a little creek and catch Catfish after Catfish after school. Since then its been a non-stop ride raising 2 boys and chasing fish. From fly fishing for 6" Brookies in a Poconos stream to chasing Stripers up and down the beach to spearfishing weed lines in the canyon, I just love to fish and catch fish!
- Techniques
- I really don't have a preferred style. I think the biggest satisfaction I get is from being able to utilize all the experience I have gained over the years and match a style and technique for each trip to the information and conditions of the day. Planning on taking a crew pot hopping for Mahi, only to find the conditions won't let it happen and then being able to turn on a dime and have the Charter get tired arms hauling bottom fish off an inshore wreck is a great feeling! I love when my guests catch fish, and I love it even more when their cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing all day!
