After catching bait fish we where out on the water in less than an hour… Swordfish, mahi mahi, bonito, kingfish and barracuda.  Maybe too many bonito, they kept striking and ate most of our bait!

This was the best fishing charter we ever booked. Every moment exceeded our expectations. Captain Jon knew about all the best spots, was friendly and fun, would let us get hands on or provide the full service. The Amber Jack’s were overflowing the fish boxes, we were so soar from reeling in fish all morning long, and our catch’s were carefully fillet’d. The captain and his first mate took us out for the whole day (and some extra time). We caught a dozen keepers (3 different kind of Snappers, a Kingfish, Triggerfish and a Bonita). We had to toss back many more (to include a real nice grouper ( as it was out of season)). The waves were quite high all day (but we were told that before going out and it was our decision to make a day of it). We were comfortable with the captain’s abilities . On Josh’s 30 ft boat was awesome…. less than 5 stars only because we had to call capt john( who we originally booked the trip with) to find out where the boat left from… good thing we called because it left from Stuart not Fort Pierce…... other than the no notification of the change of dock the trip was awesome!!!
