Took my kids on their first ever night fishing trip and it did not disappoint. Captain Zach has a wealth of knowledge of the local waterways and helped everybody with their equipment. Had a lot of fun, caught fish and even saw a shooting star. Great times will definitely be back.

My two sons and I fished with Zac.  You won’t find a guide who is more knowledgeable or caring about the Lake Placid area fisheries.  We had a terrific time spending the morning with Zac, and caught plenty of fish.  Highly recommend Zac, super guide and just all around great guy!

Not only is Zac an excellent fish guide/partner, he is a great human being.  He is helping develop the area youth in fishing and other endeavours.  He works with the 6-12 year old and teenagers and has a heart for their advancement.  I strongly recommend fishing with Zac Horrocks!

Captain Zac was an amazing guide and gave easy to understand instructions for the kids. He followed their lead and was flexible with their interests. We had a great day on the lake. Looking forward to getting out to fish with Zac again soon.

Zac is a great person to spend several hours on the lake with. Very knowledgeable. Amazing with kids! My son had a terrific time. Zac was encouraging and fun. We caught and released our fair share of fish - from small to big.
