Our trip is something we will talk about for a long time! Fernando, zach annd walter are some of the most awesome guys you could meet. Very knowledgeable, very skilled and very personable! We caught 3 sharks on our trip and it was a blast!

These guys were absolutely amazing! Everything from start to finish and the fight of the sharks is something you just can’t explain! Everyone should book with these guys if you are chasing this big sharks

Fernando and his crew did an amazing job and got us on 2 nice sharks. I will definitely be booking again with him again next year.

Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. The “Captain,” Fernando, was not present for our fishing trip. Instead, he sent two teenage boys to run the entire outing. While the boys were kind and friendly, they lacked the age and experience necessary to manage a guided fishing trip on their own.

We paid $800 expecting a professional guide to lead us, provide a knowledgeable experience, and ensure safety—not to watch two teenagers build sandcastles with the kids, catch crabs, and sit on their phones. The bait was barely offshore. In fact, another family nearby was also shark fishing with a professional guide, who came over multiple times to check on the boys. At one point, he even mentioned that the bait was only about 15 feet from shore and asked what weights they had used. This interaction further emphasized that the boys were not adequately equipped or trained to run the trip alone.

This is not a reflection on the teenagers themselves, but rather on Fernando and those in charge. It was irresponsible to leave the trip in their hands without proper supervision. Additionally, the chairs provided were inexpensive $6 camping chairs from Academy—not beach chairs as one would reasonably expect. We would have brought our own had we known.

Had we been informed in advance that the trip would be run by two teenagers, we would have chosen a more experienced crew. Ironically, we met a crew on the beach near our rental who charged $600, provided high-quality beach chairs, and were both knowledgeable and personable. We didn’t go with them because we didn’t want to cancel on Fernando last-minute—a decision we now regret.

Lastly, the fishing location changed several times at the last minute. The final spot ended up being an hour and a half away from where we were staying, even though the original location shown at booking was only 45 minutes away. This made it difficult to plan our day and caused unnecessary delays.

Overall, we were disappointed and felt that the trip lacked the professionalism and value we were promised.
