I can’t recommend Luck o’the Irish Fishing highly enough!  Captain Omar’s knowledge of Lake Tawakani and his ability to find the fish was simply astounding. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a beginner (we were one of each) he catered to our skill levels with patience and expertise.  He didn’t just guide us to catch fish; he made sure we had a blast while doing so!  We caught our limit and he lined them all up for pics, cleaned, bagged, iced and delivered to our cabin!  “Here fishy fishy fishy!”

Loved the trip, loved the experience, loved the Captain and the Co-Captain and to top it all off we happened to catch some fish. Considering that we we pulled away from the dock and the water temp was 91 degrees at 6:45 in the morning I was not expecting much. But I had my sons with me, so I was already a winner. We spot casted for blow ups and then we trolled. Both of these techniques were demanding on the Captain. Not to mention to his patient with us with a couple of tangles and bird nest, he kept us fishing with minimal interruptions. Despite the fact we were being followed which put more pressure on him, to us it was a sign that even the locals knew that he would find the fish. When it turned on it was on. My youngest son out fished me and his brother together bringing in two at a time most of the time but the smiles and laughter was the icing on the cake. The captain was informative, entertaining and took very good care of us. So we ended up with about 57 fish not to mention the ones that fell off the hook or that was not legal size. So after returning to the dock at about 107 degrees weather temperature, our fish were filleted, white washed (captain cleaning technique) and bagged for the freezer. So we headed home and unpacked and was so drained form the heat, we ate our leftover sandwiches and went to sleep only to be woken up by my wife in the kitchen frying a couple of fillets. Their is nothing like fresh fried corn meal coated fillets at 12 in the morning. I highly recommend this charter Captain Omar, Luck O the Irish fishing guide was great. We had such a great time that the ladies of the family want to have a fishing competition. The women go out to fish and once they come back it will be the men’s turn just to see whom is the better fisher-person. Lol Thanks for a great day.
