I will be honest: it was a slow day. The bite wasn’t there, and we booked an afternoon trip. The captain tried to get us on some fish; however, 1 34in roosterfish, 3 needlefish, and 3 skip jack wasn’t ideal of a day, and a lucky snag on a deep water fish before we headed out. It was better than nothing; obviously, it was just a little disappointing. The time of year played a factor, for sure.
I would recommend them during peak billfish season in November and December. Also, remember to bring extra money to pay for the doctorate and your licenses. Both aren’t included. However, the “trash” fish did cook up pretty well. We had them made at Senior Frogs, and I highly recommend you DO NOT go there since they wanted to charge three people $200 USD just to cook them with some appetizers.
Overall, 4.5/5 for the price. If at a better time of year, it would be a 5/5

Thank you for your kindness, professionalism, and focus.  We hooked two Marlin, the second took the bait, but we got a good fight.  The boat was comfortable for the five of us plus the two crew members.  We made sandwiches in the galley.  There is a head, and a place outside in the shade to lie down if you have members of the group that need a rest.

Have fished for many years and you start to know which Captains are the leaders of the fleet.  Paulo knows the waters very well and changes directions and plans when needed.  My boy started to feel ill, so he moved to calmer waters to help him adjust and when feeling better he brought us to an area to catch Roosters, which was my hopes from the start of the trip.

Paulo was very responsive on the app and provided most of the information we needed. When we arrived, he took us to buy licenses ($20 per person cash) and bait ($40 cash). At the dock, we were told to pay $1 per person to get on the dock. It would have been better to know the cost ahead of time to bring more cash.
The crew (Paulo’s son and Ramon) was very knowledgeable and worked the entire time to look for good spots and change the bait/lures since the fish weren’t biting. However, they did not speak much English so didn’t engage with us until a fish was on the line. But we still had a great time and caught a Marlin and two Mahi Mahi!

We booked Pacific Time after a lot of research and we could not have been happier. Our goal was to catch fish, and that we did. The crew worked their tails off to get fish on and it paid off. Captain Paulo got us on fish and Cesar and Eddy hooked them up. If you are looking for a no nonsense fishing trip this is for you!! Do not look anywhere else. These guys are serious fisherman!! Thank you Paulo, Cesar, and Eddy, we will be back soon!!
