- Hi, I’m Garrett Ross, the owner and operator of Flex Appeal Charters. I am a military veteran, and have now turned my passion into a living. I grew up fishing the Georgia coast, and was driving a skiff in the back rivers and marshes of Savannah before I could even drive a car. I truly love what I do, and am excited to share my passion and knowledge of fishing with all of you. My mission is to provide a fun and safe experience for all of my customers, no matter if you are a serious angler, or fishing for the first time. At the end of the day, I hope to leave our trip having made new friends, not just clients.
- Techniques
- While I love fly fishing and casting artificial lures for all of our sport fish, I really just want to catch fish. If that means bottom fishing with cut bait, or live bait under a cork then I'm happy to do so. Because of the amount of nutrition in our water system, the visibility can make using lures and flies difficult, so I always come prepared for every situation. I have fished all over the world, and often apply tips and tricks I've picked up from other places right here in my own backyard. My equipment is high quality, because I feel it not only helps catch more fish, but it improves upon the customer experience. Nobody wants to spend their hard earned money and feel like they didn't get the best experience possible. I am not just a "boat driver", I am an obsessed fisherman myself. I believe my passion for the sport shows, and I will put forth every effort to catch fish no matter what!
