Captain Eric was fantastic. We told him just put us on some action and not target a specific type. He put us on fish within the first hour. After hauling in a few we decided to move on to harder catch. Almost struck out at the oil rigs but about an hour before the end of our trip we hooked up to a monster sting ray. It was a great trip all around.

The crew, CPT Mike and Perry,were great!  They took their time helping some novices the basics, then we were all having a phenomenal time.  We asked for a trip with some big fish and they easily delivered.  We were all worn out after a couple hours of landing some big ones.  Recommend them for all that want to experience the best of Galveston fishing.

The Engels had a blast , we went out on the boat to get bait which we were surrounded by dolphins then went out and all of us caught our limit, Sharks were prepared for us to take home to fry which were delicious. We were also allowed to bring a small cooler for water and etc.. which was extremely nice in the heat!

Captain Eric was great! I went with my wife and mother-in-law who had never been fishing before. He made sure to help her with casting each time and was patient with us being beginners. He helped us snag some great fish and prepped everything at the end. Will definitely rebook with Line Check Charters.

I took my 14-year-old son out on a four hour trip, and we had a great time, even though the water was really not cooperating with us. Our guide took us to multiple spots, trying to put him on the fish.  We caught one large black drum that was oversized. And then we almost caught a limit of sheep head at our last stop.  He made sure my son was having a great time. It was a great overall trip.
