We booked a half day, morning trip. Weather was great, captain was awesome and personable, and the fish were biting. First line down was a hit and it never stopped the entire time. I estimate we caught between 60-70 and kept 23 lane snappers. Caught a lot of out-of-season red snappers and those provided a nice fight. Boat handled the water well and got us to our spot quickly. We will be back!

It was the BEST DAY EVER!! Dave was nothing short of amazing and so knowledgeable. He asked if we wanted to catch a shark and we caught 3!! That last one was HUGE and not a happy camper (a Spinner). When it got to the side of the boat, he tried to take some of Dave’s fingers!!  Dave was so nice and personable and made the trip one of the BEST experiences of my life for me and my girls!! Capt. Dave was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable of the area and variety of sea life we encountered. Dave made sure we did not have a dull moment. 6 hours was not enough time for us. We highly recommend Strippin Lips and we are already talking about planning another.

Took a father’s day trip with 5 other father’s/family members.  The bad, no working bathroom but with 6 guys it really didn’t impact us much, snappers had to be thrown back in as it was not in season.  The good, equipment needed to find all the fish we wanted, enough rods for 6.  The ugly, even though we got 2 nice fishes we did not catch anything we could take home.  Caught maybe 8-10 mainly small fishes in the 6 hours.  Dave and the end extended our time to catch the shark which was... So let’s start at the beginning, he said to be at the ramp at 0630, when we all showed up he was already there and ready!! He greeted everyone with a firm hand shake and a smile. He took us to his badass Grady white and said “Make yourself at home” he not only put us on the fish but showed us tips and tricks that us new or pretend anglers are not aware of.
