We had a great experience with Capt. Enrique and his crew, Juan and Luis. They were all incredibly nice, patient, and accommodating throughout the trip. Fishing was a bit slow due to the time of year, but they worked hard to put us on fish, and we still managed to reel in a couple of nice ones.

We had a large group—me, my four sons, two of their girlfriends, my daughter, and her boyfriend—so it was no small task to keep everyone engaged and taken care of. Capt. Enrique and his crew did a fantastic job making sure everyone felt included and had a good time. Their effort and hospitality really made the trip memorable for all of us.

The team did a great job of rescheduling the trip to a day later because i was sick but let Samaki know hours ahead of tbe trip and they went to extra lengths to acvomodate me a day later and not cancel so much appreciated.  Then we finally arrived for the trip and there are a few logistics getting in the marina (V & V Marina) and to the boat. I would recommend trying to be there no later than 30 minutes early coordinated with the crew of course and allowing extra time for using a credit card to pay the balance.  Otherwise you will cut into your own fishing time.  In this case it didnt matter bevause its about an hours drive to tbeir offshore fishing spot and the first ”live bait” hit water and witbin five minutes we hooked up a very nice sailfish in May   MUCH later than the regular season. The crew did a good job getting it in the boat, photos and releasing it.  We hooked three barracudas and landed two but one got away right at the boat. That was the only blemish, to me if you are keeping a fish, gaff it and get it in the boat dont try to swing a barracuda in but im just a rookie lol.  The fact we landed tbe sail in mid May erases all else lol It was a perfect day calm seas lots of sun and three very nice fish.  When I fish in Cancun I will always choose Samaki, for me they give the best expeeience and value and I highly recommend them.

Wow, what an amazing day out on the ocean with Captain Enrique, Juan and Louise!!  Being from out of the area we had a lot of questions before the fishing day and Enrique was VERY quick to respond every time!  We arrived early for our day out on the ocean and they greeted us with smiles and welcomed us on the boat!
Unfortunately, we had to be troopers since we were all sea sick, yet, the crew did their best to help us out in any way we needed!
We both caught ourselves a sail fish and a handful of other fish including Bonito, King Mackerel, Rainbow and Barracuda!  And when I say we caught fish, I mean Enrique put us on fish within 10 minutes of getting to our destination.  The crew was excited for every fish, quick top
Put baits back down and very helpful when it came to photos!  We would do this again with these men in a heartbeat!

Additionally, the boat was very comfortable, spacious and the fishing chair was PERFECT to catch fish!  With all the fish we were able to keep what we wanted and the crew and captain were able to feed their families with the rest - Juan even walked us nextdoor for a $15/each meal prepared by some great cooks!  Our fresh fish was so very amazing!  :]

I loved the fishing, we caught a lot of big fish, the captain knows the area that has a lot of fish! we got tired of all the fish we caught!
The crew are all lovely, respectful and polite, always ready to serve!
We were 7 people and there was no shortage of drinks.
We asked the caitão to stop on an island so we could take a bath on the Ilha das Mulheres, which was great and I also recommend it.
the vessel was in excellent condition and very clean.
the microwave was not working if you are traveling with children you need to pay attention to this detail.
Finally, I would like to thank everyone who provided this wonderful day of fishing that will remain in our memories.
