It was a choppy day so we were upgraded to the larger Samaki II vessel for free. I would recommend the 6 or 8 hour trip if going after the big sportfish species. It’s about an hour and half or so to the spot to start fishing. Overall was a great experience. We had several exciting hits from sailfish that didn’t hook up, but then we were able to make it happen with a great fish at the tail end of the day. We also reeled in a nice bonita and a barracuda to keep it interesting during the day. ... More

Crew was great and got us on the fish. Edgar hustled the whole trip to keep everything rigged to give us the best chance possible. the waters were a but rough, but during our 6 hour trip, we caught a sailfish, a wahoo, and several barracudas. I’d recommend this outfit.

El Capitan Pollo and his crew were very accommodating and gave us a fun day. In 6 hours we pulled in close to 20 fish. There were plenty of drinks and snacks for the whole trip and they made sure we were happy. The crew was working hard the whole time to make sure we filled the fish box. I highly recommend fishing with the Samaki crew.
