He's started chartering 16 years ago but has been an avid angler for over 2 decades. Today, the captain loves to share his skills and experiences with other people by taking them fishing himself. The captain also loves participating in tournaments and has over the years had a lot of success competing. Nowadays, he enjoys taking people out on trips and helping them fall in love with fishing and Cancun.
Techniques: Capt. Enrique likes to do trolling and bottom fishing.

Is not Sailfish season but we caught one, the tuna season is here we caught 6 tunas, 1 King mackerel and a Bonito fish

We caught a 30 lbs. Tuna, a Hughe Salifish, 2 Bonitos, 8 Jack and 1 Rainbow runner, what a day! Very happy clients.

The weather did not play in our favor that day. Thunderstorms and rough seas but the captain and his deckhand put me on fish. Landed one amberjack that fought for 40 minutes. Would recommend them to anyone. Boat is older but in great shape along with equipment. Will book again soon

I was skeptical about booking through a website/app but I was SO IMPRESSED. The trip was phenomenal. From the captain to the crew the whole things was perfect. My family of 5 caught King Mackrell and Barracuda. We were provided soda, water, and beer and an amazing Bagget sandwich as well! Every time I am in Cancun I am coming back to book this crew. Also it was very cost effective for a full day 8 hour trip!

Five of us went on a 10-hr trip in late February 2024. This was our third annual fishing excursion in Cancun, but first time with Samaki. Highlight was hooking three sailfish within 5 minutes. Fought the first two for 10 minutes each, and the third (biggest) for 30 minutes. Always a thrill to see them flailing out of water and smoking the reels. Came down to Cancun specifically to fish and we were not disappointed. Captain Enrique and crew put us on the fish almost immediately and it continued the entire day. We caught all sorts of fish including yellow fin tuna, barracuda, snapper and even the prized sailfish. Cannot say enough good things about the experience, boat and gear are great, captain and crew even better.
