Jovaney and Daniel did a great job. We started with some trolling and caught 2 good size mahi. Took a ride to go see the sea turtle and star fish on the reef. Major win with the kids. They made us fresh ceviche and shishimi with fresh fruit fir lunch. Tried a little bit for trigger fish but they weren’t cooperating. Went back to trolling and caught 2 more mahi.

These guys definitely know what they are doing, speak very good English and most importantly for me they were great with the kids. I would also suggest setting up any transportation with them as its cheaper and more convenient. Thanks for the great trip guys.

My son and I joined some family friends for this excursion, and we had a brilliant day of fishing. We ended up catching an Amberjack each - kept one huge one and had it cooked by a local restaurant. Amazing. I ended up catching a Sailfish too, which was an awesome surprise and was a highlight. Our guides were fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating of my son’s desired fishing styles. We also caught a triggerfish and they prepared ceviche on the boat. It was perhaps the best I’ve ever had. Boat had plenty of shade, a well-stocked cooler and nice gear. Highly recommended.

During our stay in Playa del Carmen, we booked a 4-hour fishing trip with The Boat team — and it was absolutely fantastic! The service was top-notch from start to finish. The captain and his mate were incredibly friendly, professional, and did a great job communicating in English.

The boat itself was very well equipped and comfortable, making the experience all the more enjoyable. We were lucky enough to be out on the water during a fishing tournament, so the atmosphere was filled with excitement and competition all around us.

The highlight of our trip? We managed to catch a white marlin after an intense 20-minute fight — an experience we’ll never forget. We also hooked a sailfish, but it managed to escape at the last moment. Still, the thrill was real!

We booked this trip last minute due to the weather causing cancellations and delays with other guides, and we couldn’t have gotten a better outcome!!! All three of the guides were so enthusiastic, uplifting, and had an infectious sense of happiness to them. They were all incredibly passionate about helping my sons catch some fish and they made sure it happened. They were very attentive and made sure we were always okay, had everything we needed, and constantly checked to see if my sons would like to do anything differently. They were just trying to ensure everyone was happy and they didn’t fail in the slightest. Overall our trip was amazing and we would DEFINITELY go with them again. Highly recommend!

This was a blast! My two boys and I had been looking to book this for a few weeks before our trip. The night before our trip is when we booked it. We were on the water promptly by 8:00 and started trolling. My two boys each caught a fish. Then we went and caught trigger fish by bottom fishing.
The icing on the cake was the snorkeling the last 30 mins.
