Background: I started fishing with my father as a little boy and continued as a captain after graduating from the University of San Diego in 1990. In 1997, the first Purple Jet arrived and we have been putting smiles on customers' faces ever since! The Queen Mary Open Party Fishing boat became part of the fleet in 2011.
Techniques: I prefer light tackle over heavy or trolling any day! We do it all and hope to put a nice catch together everyday. I also have no problem changing it up when necessary!

My cousins and I had a horrible trip. The captain drove way to much. I didn’t catch not one fish. They charge use $5 extra a piece because we had only 4 people witch y’all knew about when I paid my deposit. The mate told me that you where just a 3rd party so I should’ve used your website. I’m very disappointed because I tried to give me and my cousins a great Father’s Day but that didn’t happen. Please call me if you need to **hidden content** Larry

I’m sorry you didn’t have a great day. Fishing is just that,fishing. If the fish aren’t biting well, of course, we are moving around looking to find some that want to cooperate. This past Fathers Day weekend the weather was not nice and many customers did not feel well due to the FOG and bouncy seas. When purchasing thru Fishing Booker you are dealing with Fishing Booker, not us, Queen Mary. If you would have dealt with us directly I would have given you all the correct information over the phone. In Fishing Bookers defense, it’s all there in Black & White for you to read, nothing is hidden. Group rate is for 5 passengers or more. If you show up with 4 passengers it’s not considered a group rate. I

Trip was aweful today. Only a handful of fish caught in the entire boat. Only provided a metal jig with rental poles, no actual fresh bait of any kind. After hours of nothing, they should change tactics. Do not recommend spending money on this trip.

I would have loved to have changed tactics but Sea Bass is closed. Our only option was fishing for Bluefish from June 22 to July 1. Thanks Capt Dave
