- "I was born in Cancun and I have been fishing all my life, I love fishing and the sea. Then, a couple of months ago, I bought buy my own boat!" Captain Alberto Gomez started fishing when he was 6 years old, and his passion has only developed over time. He loves trolling and vertical jigging the most. Capt. Alberto's favorite fish to catch is big Barracudas and Mahi Mahi. Last year, he caught a 180 lb Blue Marlin – to date, this is his proudest fishing achievement.
