Trip Summary

Good mixed size of striped bass in shallow water. Most of the time it seems striped bass travel with other’s around the same size. Tonight was a little different. The first 2 fish this family hooked into were slot size 30” bass. After a couple more around similar size, the youngest daughter hooked into a healthy 44” cow!

The fishing was great, the bite really turned on as soon as it got dark and we started marking alot of fish in shallow water. Top 3 fish of the night were 36”, 38” and 42” all on artificial 13” eels.
