Great half day out on the water with Captain John.  We booked the PM half day, but the Captain suggested we go early in the day.  The weather couldn’t have been any better and we were catching fish 30 minutes from leaving the dock.  John was very helpful with both my 10 year old son and myself and kept us on the fish all day.  We caught something like 10 different species of fish and it was a blast.  My son already said next trip to Marco we are going out with Captain John again and he got no argument from me.  Perfect fishing experience and I recommend it to anyone.

My wife, 18 year old son and I had a fun morning fishing with Captain Cristian (John’s brother). We didn’t manage to catch any keepers but my wife landed a massive stingray and son got to fight a huge tarpon for a while until it bit thru the line. Cristian was great. He was lightning quick baiting, changing gear etc and brought us all around to different spots. We’d definitely go again.

Captain John called the night before suggesting a later start to hit better fishing. We had no problem with that. Weather was very calm so we ran out to some open water over structure Capt John had gps’ed this was an unexpected part of the day. Caught lots snapper and blue runners. headed into coast line and fished a channel, too many dolphins   chasing the fish away. Ran further in and my wife caught a snook and 15# Goliath grouper, both released. Kept 6 snapper for meals the rest of our trip.
It was a great day, well worth it.

Me and my seven year old went out for a half day with captain John.  He was extremely knowledgeable of the area, very patient with my son and put us right on the fish.  We even got a baby bonnet head shark at the end.  Caught tons of sheepshead which was a blast.  Would recommend John any day.  We will be seeking him out next time we are in the area.

I have been on 25 plus charters, from Hawaii to the Atlantic of North Carolina and Captain John is by far the best Captain I have used. Not only is he great company but he is very knowledgeable about the mangroves and the species of fish we are aiming for. Captain John is highly recommended.
