We took a morning fishing trip with Jim for my husband’s birthday and it was a blast! Jim took us out on beautiful Torch Lake and for the first hour we were the only boat out there. We hauled in 7 fish- 6 trout and one Atlantic Salmon! Had some great conversation and picked up some fishing knowledge along the way. Thanks so much Jim!

This trip was so much fun! Captain Jim is great! You really don’t need to know how to fish, he sets everything up for you. It was awesome reeling in some spectacular Lake Trout. We even caught our limit. Jim told us to take it over to a smokehouse in Frankfort, which we did. They will smoke it and ship it to you. We are enjoying our delicious fish, Highly recommend this good time - you won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I had always wanted to ice fish. Business took me to Northern Michigan. After internet research, we booked a trip with Captain Jim. Jim proved to be a hardworking and knowledgeable guide. He taught us about ice conditions, and other winter fishing tips. Plus, he was really a nice guy. We caught fish, but even more importantly, we had the ice fishing experience we had always wanted.
