Following our most recent successful sword trip, we navigated our way west to try and replicate the results. Flat calm seas and crystal clear skies made for a very enjoyable day on the water! First drift, no bites. Second drift, tip rod gets bit within 5 minutes, goes slack, we are hooked up! After a tougher battle and breaking the rod and reel, we land this beauty and decide to call it an early day and head to the scales! Just shy of 200 lbs, this fish provided many dinners for our family and friends! The gladiators of the sea are biting and the weather is GORGEOUS. Book a trip today and let's go catch a fish of a lifetime!

Due to our local waters being unusually warm, the chance to catch pelagic fish this late in the "season" remains! After an hour run to the zone, we deployed two baits into the depths to start our first drift. Within 15 minutes of the first drift, our buoy fell flat on the surface indicating that we are bit. After a brief battle, we landed this beautiful swordfish with plenty of time left to catch another! This is what is happening right now! If you want a chance at a fish of a lifetime, book a trip as this won't last forever! -Captain Danny

After searching for the vanished bluefin, we made it to san clemente island and had some opportunity on large yellowtail and were able to hook em but not land them. Sticking to our tuna or bust ideology, we ventured off the island and located a zone of finicky Bluefin and were able to trick this beautiful beast! Great day on the water!

35 nautical miles west, our group experienced as good as it gets fishing for Bluefin tuna on surface lures. 5 fish 80-140 lbs beautiful conditions! We take advantage of being rhe only boat in oceanside capable of catching these beauties.

My Crew member and friend Nathan went on a scout trip to get some fishing lined up for Hola Cappy Charters. We went for a morning trip to the coronado islands in north Baja Mexico and the bite was on! If youve ever wanted to catch a yellowtail this is the trip to go on and the coronados is the place to be! Book today, you dont want to miss it. Surface irons and Bait was the top choice for the yellows being 10-25 lb fish.
