With 18 Years of fishing experience and 6 of them working for top of the line operations out of San Diego, Captain Danny is ready to make your trip count with knowledge, experience and confidence. Having competed in the Saltwater Bass Series since 2019, he has accumulated 4 Wins and 10 top 3 finishes to go along with 3 big fish honors. Not to mention years of experience working for the San Diego under the wings of Captains Ryan Bostian and Matt Bralla. The Intrepid is where it started with Captains Bill Cavanaugh and Sam Moore. From Palos Verdes to Cabo San Lucas, Danny has spent a lot of days on the Pacific Ocean and many of them being successful with a healthy catch of fish!
Our Vessel is a Yellowfin 32 Offshore rigged to the T with twin Mercury Verado 400 V10 Outboard motors that will get you to and from the zone efficiently and safely. 16" inch Garmin electronics and JLA sound system to jam out all day long. Rhodan Trolling motor has an elite gps anchoring system to keep us on the spot.
Ice, Water, Tackle, Fish cleaning, and StarLink is included on all trips
Please bring your favorite sun block as well as clothing for warm and cold conditions. If you feel like you may get sea sick, take seasick medication the night before or hours before the trip. Bring your favorite food and drink, no glass bottles please, and alcohol is allowed but not included.

Had an awesome day with Captain Danny and Captain-in-training Hudson while fishing with a few family members out of Oceanside. Caught a nice yellowtail first thing, then caught a variety of species on our way back to the docks, including 4 new species for me! Danny knows his equipment, the waters, and is enthusiastic and fun to fish with. Would definitely recommend!

We did a 4 hour inshore with trip with Captain Danny Higley. Fishing reports have been slow but Danny is an experienced captain and we were able to catch a total of 22 plus fish. Mixture of rockfish, calico bass, white fish and some sand dabs. It was an awesome day! His deck hand Josh was awesome as well. Great boat too! Highly recommend Captain Danny Higley for your next charter. Best part of fishing is hanging out with great friends, catching fish is bonus!
Danny was awesome - phenomenal charter captain, got us on fish quickly, and then went above and beyond to get hooked up on a yellowtail and seabass! Amazing experience - we will 100% come back for more!
He was amazing, he new everything about fishing, new a lot of spots, we catched a lot of fish, he was funny, very good supplies, very welcoming, a lot of stories, and just a very good trip all together.
