With 18 Years of fishing experience and 6 of them working for top of the line operations out of San Diego, Captain Danny is ready to make your trip count with knowledge, experience and confidence. Having competed in the Saltwater Bass Series since 2019, he has accumulated 4 Wins and 10 top 3 finishes to go along with 3 big fish honors. Calico Bass, Sand Bass and Spotted Bay bass fishing is his strength and has no problem with the other fisheries as well. He is a 6th Generation Oceanside Native and can't wait to share his local knowledge and experience with you on the waters of Southern California.
Our Vessel is a Yellowfin 32 Offshore rigged to the T with twin Mercury Verado 400 V10 Outboard motors that will get you to and from the zone efficiently and safely. 16" inch Garmin electronics and JLA sound system to jam out all day long. Rhodan Trolling motor has an elite gps anchoring system to keep us on the spot.
Ice, Water, Tackle, Fish cleaning, and StarLink is included on all trips
Please bring your favorite sun block as well as clothing for warm and cold conditions. If you feel like you may get sea sick, take seasick medication the night before or hours before the trip. Bring your favorite food and drink, no glass bottles please, and alcohol is allowed but not included.

12 Hour Trip – Tuna Hunt on July 9, 2025
Had the absolute best time fishing with Captain Danny.
Him and his crew were super knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about putting us on fish. They knew the local waters inside and out and had us on quality bites in no time.
Gear was top-tier and the boat was badass, had us out in the zone asap and making stops along the way.
Can’t say enough good things. great vibes, weather, and most importantly, great fishing. Whether you're a local or visiting, don’t miss the chance to get out with this crew. I’ll definitely be booking with them again.

Catalina Island Lobster Trip on August 29, 2025 • 3 adults
We did a 4 hour inshore with trip with Captain Danny Higley. Fishing reports have been slow but Danny is an experienced captain and we were able to catch a total of 22 plus fish. Mixture of rockfish, calico bass, white fish and some sand dabs. It was an awesome day! His deck hand Josh was awesome as well. Great boat too! Highly recommend Captain Danny Higley for your next charter. Best part of fishing is hanging out with great friends, catching fish is bonus!

Amazing Trip
4 Hour PM fishing trip on January 2, 2026 • 4 adults
We did the afternoon fishing trip with Captain Danny and Ethan and had the best time. Captain Danny checked in the day prior and his communications were always prompt and friendly. He got us on the fish and the crew handled everything for us. Next time we are in Oceanside, we will be booking with him again.
