Captain Rafael is definitely one of the best Captain in catching tarpons, he helped us caught a few good tarpons, and also taught us a lot of knowledge of the tarpons and the backwater. Came down here for Cousins trip and this was on top of the list of things to do. Chose Captain Rafa after reading all the previous reviews and SO HAPPY we did. Although the fish were not jumping in the boat we could not have had a better experience. The Captain kept on keeping on even after we had doubts. We booked an afternoon trip but after chatting with Rafael decided that an early morning trip would be better, so thankful we did! Rafael was punctual and immediately took us out to start fishing. 5 minutes in and my daughter almost catches a fish, after some patience, my husband caught a 60/70 lb fish!
