Had a bit of a slow start (but piced up a couple nice fish)as we chose to cast fish for a while. Switched to trolling and we were set. Caught some nice walleye and a few others and had some Sheephead steal a worm or 2. Captain Ron and first make Dakota were spot on with everything they did, they kept lines locked and loaded ,untangled and kept it fun as well very personable guys to have a good conversation with. We did a two half day fish. The first day was trolling and we caught our limit of walleye by noon. The second morning we did a casting fish as the water was rough. 8 walleye and 10 catfish. We had a different Captain on each day. Both got the job done. Hats off to the First Mate Dakota, who was on the spot. I wouldn’t like to have been without his knowledge and skill. Had a great trip with captain Shaun and Dakota. The weather couldn’t have been any nicer and they put us on the fish as soon as we had a couple lines in the water. Many doubles and couple of triples landed, didn’t want the trip to end. Very well organized boat and spent as time as needed to answer any questions. Highly recommend Champion Charters and will look them up again when get back to Lake Erie. Thanks Guys !!

Champion Charters is amazing. Captain Jim gave very good instruction had our group working together in no time. This trip was to celebrate my son’s 17th birthday. We had a group of 6 and opted for the Executive Charter offering food and drinks. I highly recommend. The boat and equipment offered, are fantastic. We had a great day fishing, came back with 42 Walleye!!!

We had a great trip on Saturday. We weren’t catching enough by casting ourselves. So Captain Luke set up the trolling rig. We caught 16 great Walleye to bring home. Missed limiting out by 2.
