Natalie. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I do respond to all of my reviews on fishingbooker and my personal page. However the response to the bad review is always a double edged sword. Nothing pleases me more than helping my customers catch fish. Watching them smile as the fish they catch is hoisted in the air for a pic. However, I do feel the need to respond to certain elements of your review. It is a fact that I’ve only been a professional guide for 1 1/2 years. But I also have been fishing the Bay system for over 15 years. There have been many days of fishing by myself or with friends and guided trips that the highest of expectations are at the dock. Unfortunately as many fish as I’ve caught in my years on the Bay. There’s going to be tough days. As you mentioned. I took you to those lights in the morning where we saw a bunch of trout. So we know the fish were there. Unfortunately I have no control over whether they decide to eat. You hired me for a 6hr trip. I fished your party for 8hrs. And yes hit spot after spot trying to find fish that would eat to make it a great trip for your party. At the end of the day, I’m truly sorry it wasn’t a spectacular trip. I work very hard for all of my customers and strive to make every trip a good one. It is also a fact that the most experienced guides on the Bay also have tough days. I know this for a fact as many guides that I know call me when fishing is tough. They call me because they know under most conditions I’m usually on the fish. I hope you find much success in any future guided trips.
