Nice boat.  Captain made delicious civiche with mackeral I caught

Nice captain and crew. Disappointing trip. It was really more of a boat ride with rods in the water versus actively fishing and being able to talk and interact with the crew.

No equipment on the boat to locate spots in a huge bay or big fish if we wanted to go deep. Asked the owner every day leading up to the trip if the fishing was good he said yes. When you only have a few days on vacation, I was looking for honesty so I could cancel (losing a deposit would have been fine). I talked to others fishing that day and they caught fish. First question from owner upon arriving was “do you have the payment” and of course I did and paid. The. He got off the boat and left me with two guys that spoke very little English. Do your homework…I didn’t until after and I found out there are MUCH better guides. We cut the trip 2 hours short when we realized we weren’t going to catch fish trolling around aimlessly in the the bay. I’m sure the guys were nice but there was no conversation so we just decided to lay down and rest.

Could have been a better boat.
