This guy’s was great. Very knowledgeable,  tried a variety of places and baits. He was nice to my wife and she’s not a great angler but she caught fish too. Definitely recommend!

Capt Matt was great. We had rainy weather and Matt made the most of your day. We caught 26 fish and every one had a good time. I would book with Matt again on our future trips to Morehead City

I got a 4 hour morning trip for my brothers birthday. To begin with, Matt was very easy to communicate with and seemed happy to answer my questions leading up to the trip. When we arrived to the docks Matt was already there waiting for us, the boat and equipment were clean and in great conditions, and the bait was ready to go. Fishing began slow and Matt gave some pointers, when he offers a “celebrity cast” just take it. We landed on some croakers to begin with and then had a bit of a slow patch but Matt was very patient and kept looking, you could tell that he really liked anted us to enjoy the trip and take home some fish. After a couple spots Matt landed us right in the middle of Red Drum, as I said, take the “celebrity cast” when offered. He made 3 casts for my sister and she caught a fish on each. We ended up each catching several fish and more importantly we had an amazing time. We’ve all agreed that this was the best birthday gift ever.
