Our family did the 6 am, 6 hour trip with captain T.J. and Tyler. We were all pleased with how clean and comfortable the cabin was. We caught lots of fish and had a fun time doing it. We limited out on red snapper and spent the rest of the trip trolling for mackerel. Everyone was able to catch a few fish each. The fish were cleaned afterwards and T.J. even gave us some tips for cooking them up that night. We look forward to our next trip to Destin and will definitely be giving T.J. a call for another fishing trip.

Amazing experience!!! Most of us were first time saltwater fishermen and got to experience many different species of fish including king and spanish mackerel, red snapper and 3 8ft bull sharks. The deckhand Tyler was super helpful and made sure that the kids got to experience every bit of the fishing experience. Most importantly of all the captain prayed with us before heading out to sea! Would 10 out of 10 recommend this charter for anyone wanting to experience a true saltwater fishing trip!!!!

First time deep see fishing and I was able share the experience with my son.  By far the best experience I have had in a long time.  TJ and Tyler done a great job and are very professional to deal with.  Had an experience of a lifetime realing in a large bull shark during our trip and to have my 8 year old son get to share that moment will last forever.  Thank you guys for a great trip. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be coming back to have that experience again.

Captain TJ was the best! The boat was in great shape and was perfect for a long trip. It was my sons 15th birthday and he said it was his favorite one. The captain put us on fish right out of the gate and kept us on them all day. We caught everything from King Mackerel to amberjack, Bonita and snapper. At one point we weren’t sure how much more reeling we could do! They are very family oriented and make sure everyone is well taken care of.  I would recommend Captain TJ and High Cotten to anyone wanting any type of trip. I can’t say enough to describe how good a charter it was!!

Went out with 5 friends aboard the High Cotton in search of blue waters, giant fish, and wonderful memories. Captain TJ and first mate Tyler delivered as promised and took great care of us. We couldn’t have asked for more, it was truly an epic trip. The HIgh Cotton was clean and roomy and made the trip very comfortable, especially for the first timers in the group. Captain TJ put us on some giants and Tyler made landing them hassle free. We all came back with ear to ear smiles and sore arms from tugging on some of the biggest fish these guys had ever seen. This trip was exactly what we were looking for: a comfortable ride, knowledgable crew, giant fish and a lot of them, laughs and smiles, and overall amazing memories. Thank you both for the amazing experience. Can’t wait to do it again next time we’re in town.
