Captain Mike was great.  I’ve fished the keys dozens of times and brought my family on the charter.  Great time and so much fun.  Captain is extremely talented and knowledgeable.  Would definitely recommend.

My son and I went offshore and reef/wreck fishing in September. We were the only or one of the few boats that caught mahi due to the water temp and time of the year. Captain Mike was honest and we had to reschedule due to weather twice. I’m thankful Cpt Mike was honest as well as his willingness to look further out than others, which is why we caught fish. We told Captain Quinn that we would like to catch yellowtail, and he took us straight to an offshore reef full of them. In 1 hour, we caught our limit. He then took us to a wreck a couple minutes away, and we drifted over it for other species. We added a handful of vermillion snapper to go with the others. Capt. Quinn was quick with tying new hooks and baiting as needed, and he shared his knowledge with us freely every time we had a question. He told us where to cast and why. As the fish came on the boat, he was right there to lend a hand. When were done and docked, he had our fish cleaned and bagged in a hurry.

Furthermore, they will work with you as you are booking. We were in the middle of booking a specific date and time, and they called us real quick to let us know someone was in the process of paying their deposit for the day we wanted. Arrangements were amended quickly and painlessly. These guys are kind, they know how to get the fish, and they are highly responsive.

I would wholeheartedly recommend a private charter with Mike. Honestly it was a tough winter day in the keys yet we went out anyway. He did everything right. His awesome boat is as fast and hard working as he is. Chasing frigate birds and flying fish or “flyers” was a new and welcomed experience for me.

We started our trip in weather that was no ideal, and water temps below normal. It did not matter though, our captain was able to find us plenty of fish to catch and taught us a lot of new things about fishing the Keys. Great trip, will be booking again next vacation down to the Keys.
