the captain and his deckhand (son) were both amazing. worked their ass off to put us on fish, they just didnt seem to be biteing today however we did land 1 stripped marlin at 8’10”!! and that was the ultimate goal of the day to catch my dream fish and we did just that.!! as long as you remember with any charter they dnt sell the fish, they sale the experience. and dnt go into it with a mind set that if you dnt catch anything its bad service. you will be just fine. the only complaint i guess i do have would be i thought i booked an all inclusive trip meaning food drinks and bait and fishing license were included in the price but it wasnt. we did stop at a floating dock style store where we were able to get a couple bags of chips and get live bait. then we were off! also listen to captains instructions on your trip to the dog other wise you will end up being dropped off in the wrong spot and halving to walk a few miles around the marina lol all in all it was a great trip very pleased

Manuel Sr and Manuel Jr gave us a great day on the water- the Fishing was excellent to boot! Booked a full day trip hoping to catch a marlin and ended up catching 2 marlin, 3 mahi mahi, and 1 wahoo! Nearly had a second wahoo but didn’t land it. I know not every day the fish are biting like this but man, we hammered ‘em!

The captain and his son were enjoyable to chat with while fishing and very responsive, when messaging before the trip, with a few questions i had. It was clear these guys loved to fish and knew what they were doing! I definitely wouldnt hesitate to book with these guys again.

What can I say about Manuel. This guy knows how to catch fish. If you look hard enough Im sure you would find gills behind his ears. Last year Manuel took us out 2 days and we landed 5 marlin. I had found my captain. Even though Manuel was busy he took the time to captain our boat today with his son Manuel Jr. It was great to see father and son working together.
Was a beautiful day on the water as always. We started the day with 3 mahi. The third being in the 25 pound range. We then hooked a double header of Sailfish!!! Unreal! Me and my friends first sailfish ever! Even fishing in costa rica a few times and I never caught one. Well Manuel got us 2! Still 4 hours left! We searched for some tuna for a bit, had a couple bites but nothing stuck so it was time to troll back. Well Manuel rewarded us again with my other friends first striped marlin! Last year Manuel gave us memories for a lifetime and he did the same again this year. Not only is he a great fisherman and captain but you can see he clearly enjoys being out there and finding fish for his clients. It was truly an honour to fish with you Manuel and look forward to the next time.

I’d highly recommend this charter.  The crew was attentive, caring, and worked hard for us.  We caught a Mahi & a big blue Marlin.  The crew changed the lures & techniques throughout the charter which was necessary for our success.  We are avid outdoorsman, but we brought two not so outdoorsy people with us.  The crew was accommodating to our skill sets and everyone had a great time.  We fought the Marlin for 4 hours & the crew worked hard the entire time.  No hesitation, no giving up, etc.  Bravo!

I cant say enough good things about this fishing duo! When it comes to targeting a certain fish Manuel and his son Manuel Junior, have your back. today, my friend and I wanted to target marlin and got exactly what we asked for pulling in our 1 apiece before our allotted time. Ive used Black Marlin Sport fishing over the last few years and I would recommend to anyone hands down.
