We had a very productive week of fishing once the seas came down. There was lots of big sharks around the shrimp boats with in 5-8 miles from shore. We also caught a few king Mackerel. The snapper fishing slowed a little with plenty of smaller ones but keepers were hard to come by. We have some openings trough out the week. The fishing is staring to pick back up after a very cool winter(By Texas standards). The water temp around 70 and fish are moving. Lately we have seen a number of red snapper a lot on the smaller size but a few state water keepers mixed in. The Bull Redfish have picked back up as well as a few sharks as well. The reservation book is starting to fill up. And weekends are especially going fast! Tight lines Rodney

It seems we have transitioned to a fall weather pattern where the wind blows more often then not. When we have been able to get out the fishing has been good with more keeper state water snapper showing up. There has also been a large number of sharks and Bull Reds caught. Filling the oversize Redfish tags has been common place on many recent trips. We also have landed a number of Ling/Cobia but I'm not sure how long that will last with the dropping water temps and there natural migration to other areas. There is still some good fishing to be had right through the winter Come take advantage of cooler more comfortable temps. Weekends are booking fast. If you have a weekday available take advantage of our reduced weekday rates.

We got out on a all day trip this week. The water as very cloudy and dirty. With the extra time we were able to find some decent water about 30 miles offshore. We ended up with 2 monster Cobia a King Mackerel and a number of snapper.

This report is for the last week of fishing. The fishing has been fairly steady. The bottom fishing has been fast with a few keeper state water Red Snapper, and a number of other species being caught. The bigger fish like Kingfish, Ling and sharks have been good with a few trips being alittle harder then others finding them. We did have a couple all-day trips this week. With the extra time we are able to get further offshore and target some different species. On both trips we were able to land a number of Dolphin/Mahi Mahi and Ling/Cobia.
