Arrived eagerly to go out and catch some fish! As we proceed out the gulf, we all could tell not going to be a normal day. Very WINDY with 4-5ft swells. Captain Ethane stopped the boat. I have had several charters but Captain Rodney and Captain Ethan are hands down the greatest experience I have personally had. For starters, only me and my friend had booked the trip several weeks ago and expected others (folks we don’t know) to be on the trip as a shared charter. We trolled first and caught 3 king mackerel. We had a party of six so everyone probably wasn’t going to catch a fish. Captain recommended going to a place to bottom fish where everyone would probably catch a fish. We caught several red snapper but had to release most of them because they were an inch short of minimum but each of us caught several fish. I was amazed that that many fish were an inch short. Great trip and crew.

This was by far the best charter I have ever had, even better than the one I took in the Florida keys. Rodney was an amazing captain and got us on the fish fast. After about 10 minutes of him getting the lines in, we had a fish on it. We caught multiple red drums, bonnet head sharks, and a couple black tip sharks. We were catching left and right and had to start releasing them! I would definitely charter with Olivia Charters again and especially with Rodney! Thank you again for an amazing experience!
