Jason and Bruce were fantastic guides!! They were very knowledgeable, funny guys and got us into some fish. I would definitely use them again, just don’t ask Bruce to break dance!

What a great fishing day! The sunrise was spectacular today. Our guides Jay and Bruce were attentive, engaging and very professional. They got us fish and we had a blast in the process!

Fishing with Jay and Bruce is more like spending a day with your buddies than being on a charter. They are great guys who love to fish. I have the feeling they would be on the water every day if they had the chance. I liked that they were up to date on watching the weather and fishing regulations to make sure we had the best trip possible. When the weather took a bad turn they changed the meeting spot so we could be out of the wind.

We met at the harbor and were out fishing within 10 minutes. The only thing that slowed down getting our lines in the water was the time it took to drop the crab pots. Within half an hour we had landed our first Chinook Salmon. We weren’t pulling in fish continually but were each able to catch some nice salmon and limited out on crab. Jay and Bruce might have been more excited that we were whenever a fish was brought up. Because of the weather, we were not able to fish for halibut, but that only gives us an excuse to come back and fish with the Rodfather again. Don’t hesitate to book with these guys, You will have a great day.
